I found this \u00a0flipping through &#8220;Atkins The Complete Cookbook; Lose Weight with Hundreds of Low Carb Dishes&#8221; \u00a0searching out all the Induction Phase recipes.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1169\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1169\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?attachment_id=1169\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1169\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-1169\" title=\"LC Chicken Adobo\" src=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC00393-1024x595.jpg\" alt=\"LC Chicken Adobo\" width=\"640\" height=\"371\" srcset=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC00393-1024x595.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC00393-300x174.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1169\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tangy LC Chicken Adobo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>1 cup White Vinegar<br \/>\n2 cloves Garlic, pushed through a press<br \/>\n1 Bay Leaf<br \/>\n1 1\/2 teaspoons whole Peppercorns, lightly crushed<br \/>\n1\/2 cup reduced-sodium Soy Sauce<br \/>\n6 whole Chicken Legs, cut into drumstick and thigh pieces<br \/>\n1 cup Water<br \/>\n3 Tablespoons Canola Oil<\/p>\n<p>In a large glass baking dish, mix vinegar, garlic, bay leaf, peppercorns and soy sauce; add chicken and toss to coat.<br \/>\nCover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator 1 hour.<br \/>\n* I had bought a family pack of Chicken Breasts which I divided into two large freezer<br \/>\nZiplock bags; I simply added the marinade to a defrosted bag of chicken pieces.<\/p>\n<p>Transfer chicken and its marinade to a large saucepan.<br \/>\nAdd water and heat to boiling, over high heat.<br \/>\nCover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 20 minutes.<br \/>\nWith tongs, transfer chicken to a plate to cool.<br \/>\nBring cooking liquid to a boil and continue boiling for about 10 minutes, until it is reduced to 1 cup.<br \/>\nLet sauce cool and strain into a small saucepan; skim off fat and reheat.<br \/>\nPat chicken dry with paper towel.<br \/>\nIn a large skillet, heat oil over high heat until very hot.<br \/>\nBrown chicken, in batches, about 2 minutes per side.<br \/>\nTransfer to a deep platter and pour hot sauce over chicken.<br \/>\nSnip green onions over top for garnish.<\/p>\n<p>Serves 4<br \/>\nPer Serving: Net Carbs: 6 grams, Total Carbs: 6.5 grams, Fibre: 0.5 grams, Protein: 46 grams, Fat: 33 grams, Calories 515<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Chicken Adobo&#8221; Recipe.
