There are a few steps to get through but it is worth the effort&#8230;guaranteed!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1384\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1384\" style=\"width: 350px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?attachment_id=1384\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1384\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/Black-Forest-Cheesecake.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Black Forest Cheesecake\" width=\"350\" height=\"347\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1384\" srcset=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/Black-Forest-Cheesecake.jpg 350w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/Black-Forest-Cheesecake-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/Black-Forest-Cheesecake-300x297.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1384\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Black Forest Cheesecake<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>1  cup Chocolate Cookie Crumbs<br \/>\n1\/4 cup Butter, melted<\/p>\n<p>2 pkgs 250g Philly Cream Cheese, softened<br \/>\n3\/4 cup Sugar<br \/>\n2 Eggs<br \/>\n1\/2 cup (100g bar of chocolate) Dark Chocolate, melted<br \/>\n1\/3 cup Cream<br \/>\n2 Tablespoons Kirsch (Cherry Brandy)<br \/>\n1 can (425g) pitted Cherries, drained and reserving liquid<\/p>\n<p>1 can (425g) pitted Cherries, reserve 8 &#8211; 10 whole cherries for garnish<br \/>\nReserved liquid from first can of cherries<br \/>\n1 \/3 cup Sugar<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Cornstarch<\/p>\n<p>2 cups Whipping Cream<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Icing Sugar<br \/>\n1 teaspoon vanilla<\/p>\n<p>Chocolate Curls\/Shavings <\/p>\n<p>Combine cookie crumbs and melted butter.<br \/>\nPress into an 8&#8243; Springform pan.<br \/>\nChill.<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 300F (150C)<br \/>\nIn tall mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar just until smooth.<br \/>\nBeat in eggs, one at a time.<br \/>\nOn low speed, stir in the chocolate, cream and kirsch just until smooth. Do not over beat.<br \/>\nStir in the first amount of drained cherries.<\/p>\n<p>Pour into prepared crust and bake in 300F oven for 45 minutes.<br \/>\nEdges will be puffy and centre still a bit wiggly.<\/p>\n<p>Turn oven off, allow cheesecake to cool in oven with the door ajar for about an hour.<br \/>\nRemove from oven and cool completely, then chill for two hours.<\/p>\n<p>While cheesecake is chilling combine second can of cherries, reserved liquid from first can, and 1\/3 cup sugar.<br \/>\nBring to a boil.<br \/>\nIn a small bowl, using a fork, stir together 2 tbsp of water and the cornstarch.<br \/>\nAdd cornstarch paste to cherries and return to a boil; cook for a minute, stirring constantly.<br \/>\nReduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened.<br \/>\nRemove from heat and cool.<\/p>\n<p>In tall mixing bowl that has been chilled along with mixing beaters, whip the cream until slightly thickened.<br \/>\nAdd icing sugar a lil at a time.<br \/>\nAdd vanilla and whip cream to desired stiffness; do not over whip.<\/p>\n<p>Building the Black Forest Cheesecake.<br \/>\nLoad piping bag with whipped cream and pipe a border around the top edge of the cheesecake.<br \/>\nFill center of Whipped Cream border with the chilled Cherry mixture.<br \/>\nSprinkle the Cherry filling with chocolate shavings\/curls.<br \/>\nDecorate with reserved cherries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rich and creamy, heavenly chocolately, melt in your mouth goodness!
