{"id":14130,"date":"2026-06-04T13:28:13","date_gmt":"2026-06-04T20:28:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?p=14130"},"modified":"2026-06-04T13:32:11","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T20:32:11","slug":"caramel-sauce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?p=14130","title":{"rendered":"Caramel Sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5785-2-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14131\" srcset=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5785-2-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5785-2-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5785-2-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5785-2-1536x2048.jpg 1536w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5785-2-scaled.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Easy Peasy Caramel Sauce<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 cup Granulate Sugar<br>1\/4 cup Water, cold<br>3 oz Butter, cubed<br>1\/2 cup Heavy Cream*<br>1 tsp Vanilla<br>pinch of Salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><br>Add sugar and water to a heavy bottomed pot; stir just until combined<br>Cook over medium heat, cook until sugar dissolves, turns from cloudy to clear and starts to bubble &#8211; this can take a few minutes.<br>Do not stir &#8211; allow to bubble and cook<br>Continue cooking, without stirring, until the mixture thickens and turns a deep gold colour like honey (8-15 minutes)<br>Carefully add bits of butter and stir until completely melted &#8211; be careful as the mixture will bubble up like crazy when you add in the butter<br>Remove pot from the heat.<br>Slowly add in the heavy cream, stirring continuously until all of the cream has been incorporated.<br>Stir in vanilla and salt.<br>Set aside to cool in the pot for 10 minutes.<br>Pour into a clean glass jar with tight fitting lid<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Store in refrigerator.<br>It will get super thick when in the fridge. Warm in microwave or bring cold water in a pot to med hot temperature with the cold jar warming up along with the water.
