A special treat for Sunday morn, with leftovers to see you through the week&#8230;but wait, if word gets out you are making these, you just might have a few visitors drop by for coffee!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1937\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1937\" style=\"width: 224px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?attachment_id=1937\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1937\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1937\" alt=\"Cinnamon Rolls\" src=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/Cinnamon-Rolls-224x300.jpg\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/Cinnamon-Rolls-224x300.jpg 224w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/Cinnamon-Rolls.jpg 262w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 224px) 100vw, 224px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1937\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cinnamon Rolls<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ArialMT, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sweet Roll Dough:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n2 cups Flour<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ArialMT, sans-serif;\">1\/2 cup Sugar<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ArialMT, sans-serif;\">2 Tablespoons Rapid Rise Yeast<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ArialMT, sans-serif;\">1 cup Milk, scalded and cooled<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ArialMT, sans-serif;\">1 1\/2 cups warm Water<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ArialMT, sans-serif;\">1\/3 cup Butter<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ArialMT, sans-serif;\">2 Eggs, lightly beaten<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ArialMT, sans-serif;\">4 cups Flour (+\/-)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ArialMT, sans-serif;\">1 \u00a01\/4 teaspoon Salt<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ArialMT, sans-serif;\"><span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>Filling:<br \/>\n<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ArialMT, sans-serif;\">1\/2 cup butter, softened<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ArialMT, sans-serif;\">1 Tablespoon Cinnamon<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ArialMT, sans-serif;\">1 1\/2 cup Brown Sugar<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ArialMT, sans-serif;\"><span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>Cream Cheese Frosting:<br \/>\n<\/b><\/span>4 oz Philly Cream Cheese<br \/>\n1\/4 cup butter, softened<br \/>\n2 cups Icing Sugar<br \/>\n1 teaspoon Vanilla<br \/>\nMilk, to right consistency<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In large mixing bowl, combine first amount of flour, sugar and rapid rise yeast; set aside.<br \/>\nScald milk in small saucepan; remove from heat and add butter, stirring until the butter is melted.<br \/>\nStir in warm water.<br \/>\nIn small bowl beat eggs; *temper with slightly cooled, scalded milk mixture.<br \/>\nGradually add tempered eggs to the remaining scalded milk mixture.<br \/>\nPour the liquid ingredients into the flour, yeast and sugar.<br \/>\nStir vigorously for 2 minutes.<br \/>\nAdd a cup of flour and the salt; stir.<br \/>\nAdd flour, a cup at a time until a soft dough is formed; you may have to &#8220;stir&#8221; last stages of flour in with your hands.<br \/>\nTurn dough out onto lightly floured surface and knead for 8 minutes, until smooth and elastic.<br \/>\nCover with a clean tea towel and let rest for 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Spray two 9&#215;13 pans with Vegetable Oil spray; set aside.<br \/>\nWhile dough is resting, prepare the<\/p>\n<p><b style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Filling:<br \/>\n<\/b>In small mixing bowl rub together butter, cinnamon and brown sugar; set aside.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepare the Rolls:<\/strong><br \/>\nOn lightly floured surface, knead dough a few times then divide into two equal portions.<br \/>\nCover portion you are not working with.<br \/>\nWith other portion, roll out into a 15&#8243;x8&#8243; rectangle.<br \/>\nSprinkle half of the filling mixture to within 1\/4&#8243; of the edges of the rectangle.<br \/>\nRoll up tightly, beginning at 15&#8243; side.<br \/>\nPinch to seal edge.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 1rem; line-height: 1;\" href=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?attachment_id=1938\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1938\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Getting set to cut the roll into individual rolls\" src=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/Cinnamon-Rolls-into-the-Pan-300x193.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"193\" \/><br \/>\n<\/a>Getting set to cut the roll into individual rolls<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cut into 12 slices with a sharp knife.<br \/>\nPlace cut side down in prepared pan.<br \/>\nRepeat with second portion of dough.<br \/>\nCover and let rise for at least an hour and a half.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<dl id=\"attachment_1934\">\n<dt><a href=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?attachment_id=1934\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1934\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Set to rise!\" src=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/Cinnamon-Rolls-Ready-to-Rise-300x179.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"179\" \/><br \/>\n<\/a><strong>Set to rise!<\/strong><\/dt>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350F (175C)<br \/>\nBake in preheated oven for 20 &#8211; 25 minutes or until golden.<br \/>\nRemove from oven and cool, in pan, on wire racks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<dl id=\"attachment_1935\">\n<dt><a href=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?attachment_id=1935\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1935\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Baked to perfection!\" src=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/Cinnamon-Rolls-Out-of-the-Oven-300x186.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"186\" \/><br \/>\n<\/a>Baked to perfection!<\/dt>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>While still warm, but not hot, cover with Cream Cheese Frosting.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Cream Cheese Frosting:<br \/>\n<\/b>In medium mixing bowl cream together the softened cream cheese and \u00a0butter.<br \/>\nStir in a cup of icing sugar and vanilla until well incorporated.<br \/>\nAdd remaining icing sugar a little at a time and stirring well after each addition.<br \/>\nIf the icing is too thick, thin with a little milk.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<dl id=\"attachment_1936\">\n<dt><a href=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?attachment_id=1936\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1936\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Let's dress these babies up...or not; your call.<\/dt>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>*Add about a tablespoon of hot mixture to eggs and stir vigorously; add another tablespoon of scaled milk mixture to eggs, stir vigorously&#8230; what you are doing is bringing the eggs up to the temperature of the liquid in the pot. Once egg mixture is warmed you can slowly stir it into the remaining scalded milk mixture in the pot. If you were to just chuck the eggs into the scalded milk mixture you could very possibly end up with something resembling gross scrambled eggs O.o<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>** The Cream Cheese Frosting recipe I have posted is one I have used for yonks! I don&#8217;t know where it came from and I don&#8217;t actually measure the ingredients.
