And for that matter, forget Eggo Waffles, make a double batch of these, freeze \u00a0and use as needed; much better for ya!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-199\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-199\" href=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?attachment_id=199\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-199\" title=\"IMG_2590\" src=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2590-300x204.jpg\" alt=\"Waffles \" width=\"300\" height=\"204\" srcset=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2590-300x204.jpg 300w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2590-1024x697.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2590.jpg 1129w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-199\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Fresh Waffles are, oh, so good!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2 Eggs<br \/>\n1 3\/4 cup milk<br \/>\n1\/2 cup Butter, melted<br \/>\n2 cups Flour<br \/>\n4 teaspoons Baking Powder<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon Salt<\/p>\n<p>Heat Waffle Iron.<\/p>\n<p>In large measuring cup, beat eggs with a fork (or small whisk) until fluffy; stir in milk, melted butter and vanilla.<\/p>\n<p>In large mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.<br \/>\nPour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients and whisk together until well blended, some lumps may remain.<\/p>\n<p>Ladle 1\/3 of the batter onto the heated Waffle Iron and bake until steaming stops, about 5 minutes. Carefully remove waffle to serving plate or to wire rack if making a double batch. Repeat the procedure two more times.<br \/>\nWhen waffles are completely cool, carefully stack in large freezer bag and place in freezer.<br \/>\nTo reheat, pop into toaster like you would an Eggo Waffle.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes for variation I will use whole wheat flour in place of some of the white flour, along with some ground flax seed; the dry ingredients combined still amount to 2 cups.<br \/>\nWhen making a whole wheat version I will substitute Brown Sugar for the White Sugar.<br \/>\nA lot of the time I use soy milk instead of milk.<br \/>\nI always use real butter.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nothing beats a waffle fresh off the iron!
