{"id":2057,"date":"2014-02-23T18:34:59","date_gmt":"2014-02-24T02:34:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?p=2057"},"modified":"2014-02-23T18:54:55","modified_gmt":"2014-02-24T02:54:55","slug":"cinnamon-roll-bread","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?p=2057","title":{"rendered":"Cinnamon Roll Bread"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>All too often I find myself craving Cinnamon Rolls. \u00a0I have a few problems with that: all the kids are grown and gone so I would have to eat the entire batch on my own, \u00a0they are sinfully good therefore I would find it impossible to eat just one in a single sitting, and finally, \u00a0the cream cheese frosting is far too good to be true.<\/p>\n<p>I am always looking for ways to incorporate that yummy Cinnamon Roll taste in a smaller, simpler recipe. I was delighted when this Cinnamon Roll Bread recipe from <a href=\"http:\/\/centercutcook.com\/cinnamon-roll-bread\/\" target=\"_blank\">CenterCutCook<\/a> came through my Facebook Feed over at <a target=\"_blank\"> Ay Sontespli&#8217;s Kitchen<\/a>! If you love Cinnamon Rolls as much as I do I hope you will be as pleased with this quick bread recipe as I was!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2058\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2058\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?attachment_id=2058\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2058\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2058\" alt=\"cinnamon roll bread\" src=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03069-300x202.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03069-300x202.jpg 300w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03069-1024x690.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2058\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cinnamon Roll Bread<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>2 cups Flour<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Baking Powder<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon Salt<br \/>\n1\/2 cup Sugar<br \/>\n1 Egg, room temperature, lightly beaten<br \/>\n1 cup Milk ( I often use Almond Milk)<br \/>\n2 teaspoons Vanilla<br \/>\n1\/3 cup Greek Yogurt or Sour Cream<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Swirl Ingredients<\/span><br \/>\n1\/3 cup Sugar<br \/>\n2 teaspoons Cinnamon<br \/>\n2 Tablespoons Water<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Glaze Ingredients<\/span><br \/>\n1\/2 cup Icing Sugar<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Milk<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350F.<br \/>\nLightly spray a 9X5 inch Loaf Pan with vegetable oil spray.<\/p>\n<p>In a small bowl combine Swirl Ingredients together: sugar, cinnamon and water; set aside.<\/p>\n<p>In a large mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar; make a well in the centre.<br \/>\nIn a small mixing bowl or a large pyrex measuring cup combine egg, milk, vanilla \u00a0and yogurt or sour cream.<br \/>\nAdd dry ingredients all at once into the well in the centre of the dry ingredients.<br \/>\nStir just to combine.<br \/>\nSpoon half of the bread batter into the prepared loaf pan.<br \/>\nSpoon half of the swirl mixture over the batter.<br \/>\nCarefully spoon remaining bread batter over both, \u00a0spreading it evenly over the swirl mixture.<br \/>\nTop with remaining swirl mixture, then use a knife to make swirl designs to incorporate the cinnamon swirl into the bread batter.<br \/>\nBake in preheated oven for 45 &#8211; 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.<br \/>\nRemove bread from oven and place on wire rack to cool.<br \/>\nRun small metal spatula around the edges of the cinnamon bread to loosen from pan;
