What you have in your pantry at any given moment will \u00a0determine which Protein Bite recipe you will \u00a0make, right?<br \/>\nThe other night, my husband asked if I had any chocolate in the house and rather than handing him a little bowl of chocolate chips, I whipped up a batch of these. Infinitely better for you than that little bowl of choc chips!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2069\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2069\" style=\"width: 276px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?attachment_id=2069\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2069\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2069\" alt=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\" src=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03174-276x300.jpg\" width=\"276\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03174-276x300.jpg 276w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03174-944x1024.jpg 944w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 276px) 100vw, 276px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2069\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Protein Energy Bites<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>1 cup Rolled Oats<br \/>\n1\/2 cup Peanut Butter<br \/>\n2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil<br \/>\n1\/2 cup Chocolate Chips &#8211; mini ones are best but use what you have<br \/>\n1\/4 cup Honey<br \/>\n1\/4 cup Chia Seeds<br \/>\n1\/4 cup Dates, chopped<br \/>\n1\/4 cup dried Cranberries<br \/>\n1\/4 cup Pecans, chopped<br \/>\n2 Tablespoons Protein Powder<br \/>\nPinch of Cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>Sesame Seeds or Fine Desiccated Coconut<\/p>\n<p>In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except sesame seeds until everything is evenly distributed.<br \/>\nRoll into about 24 balls &#8211; I use a #2 Pampered Chef scoop for uniform size<br \/>\nRoll some or all in sesame seeds or coconut.<br \/>\nRefrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.<br \/>\nStore in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.<\/p>\n<p>Variation:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2132\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2132\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?attachment_id=2132\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2132\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2132\" alt=\"www.aysontespli.ca\" src=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03289-300x131.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"131\" srcset=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03289-300x131.jpg 300w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03289-1024x447.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2132\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Protein Energy Bites rolled into a log for slicing instead of rolling into balls.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Roll the mixture into a log.<br \/>\nWrap in parchment paper and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
