Minus the typical fish sauce and eggs you find in most Fried Rice offerings. Yum!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2122\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2122\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?attachment_id=2122\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2122\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2122\" alt=\"www.aysontespli.ca\" src=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03207-300x282.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"282\" srcset=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03207-300x282.jpg 300w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03207-1024x963.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2122\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Gathering ingredients to make Edamame Fried Rice<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>1 Tablespoon Olive Oil<br \/>\n1\/2 Onion, diced<br \/>\n2 cloves Garlic, minced<br \/>\n1 1\/2 teaspoons Ginger, grated or 1\/2 teaspoon dried Ginger powder<br \/>\n2 stalks Celery, sliced on the diagonal<br \/>\n2 Fresh Carrots, scrubbed and sliced thinly on the diagonal<br \/>\n8 ounces\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\">Frozen Edamame<br \/>\n<\/a>2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce<br \/>\n1 1\/2 teaspoons Sesame Oil<br \/>\n2 cups cooked Brown Rice<br \/>\nFresh Ground Pepper, to taste<\/p>\n<p>In a small bowl or a measuring cup combine soy sauce, sesame oil and ground pepper; set aside.<br \/>\nIn large (12&#8243; or 30cm) deep skillet, heat olive oil over med-high heat.<br \/>\nAdd onions and cook for about 3 minutes.<br \/>\nIncrease \u00a0heat slightly and add minced garlic, ginger, celery, carrot and cook for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly.<br \/>\nAdd rice, the soy sauce mixture and edamame; stir constantly until heated through.<br \/>\nIf desired, garnish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and a bit of sliced green onion.<\/p>\n<p>Serves 4<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"line-height: 1.5; font-style: italic;\" href=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?attachment_id=2123\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2123\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Edamame Fried Rice\" src=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC03224-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had made some Baked Brown Rice a few days ago \u00a0and left with quite a bit leftover; had a scour through the fridge to see what I could make using the rice. hmmm&#8230;let&#8217;s see: celery, onions, carrots, edamame&#8230;Fried Rice!
