This is how I generally make it but sometimes I don&#8217;t have all the ingredients on hand and will just wing it. If I don&#8217;t have the Knorr&#8217;s Vegetable soup mix on hand I use Vegetable Bovril to taste.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/sonteisservingitup\/jams-jellies-sauces-things-you-pour-spread-or-dip-new\/spinachdip\/IMG_1681.JPG?attredirects=0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/sonteisservingitup\/_\/rsrc\/1468736920200\/jams-jellies-sauces-things-you-pour-spread-or-dip-new\/spinachdip\/IMG_1681.JPG?height=140&amp;width=200\" width=\"200\" height=\"140\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>Sourdough bread (which I now make from scratch)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>1 cup Sour Cream or Plain Greek Yogurt<\/div>\n<div>1 cup Mayo<\/div>\n<div>1 pkg Frozen Chopped Spinach, thawed and well drained (squeeze excess liquid out with hands)<\/div>\n<div>1 pkg Knorr&#8217;s Vegetable Soup Mix<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0in Australia Continental Spring Vegetable Simmer soup<\/div>\n<div>(optional)1 can Water Chestnuts, diced<\/div>\n<div>(optional) 1 can Artichoke Hearts, drained and chopped<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In medium mixing bowl, stir together sour cream or plain greek yogurt and mayo.<\/div>\n<div>Add well drained, chopped spinach and stir well.<\/div>\n<div>Stir in vegetable soup mix and if using, chopped artichoke hearts and diced water chestnuts.<\/div>\n<div>*Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Remove top of sourdough loaf, tear into bite sized pieces; remove \u00a0bite sized chunks of bread from loaf and place on serving tray.<\/div>\n<div>Place hollowed out sourdough loaf on serving tray and fill with \u00a0Spinach Dip.<\/div>\n<div>Arrange bite sized pieces of sourdough bread around the loaf and serve.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>* If taking Spinach Dip to an event, put spinach dip in a container with an airtight lid and refrigerate.
