Apparently the pulp freezes really well but I thought I would try using it in different recipes!<\/h3>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/sonteisservingitup\/recipes-1\/passionfruitbars\/IMG_0501.JPG?attredirects=0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/sonteisservingitup\/_\/rsrc\/1276482769473\/recipes-1\/passionfruitbars\/IMG_0501.JPG?height=147&amp;width=200\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"147\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h3><a name=\"TOC-Ingredients\"><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ingredients<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 cup (150g) flour<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 \u00bd (7 ml) teaspoon baking soda<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00bd (2 ml) teaspoon salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 cup (85g) desiccated coconut<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00bd cup (100g) caster sugar<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00bd cup (100g) butter, cold, cut into cubes<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 x 395g can sweetened condensed milk<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00bd cup (125ml) fresh lemon juice (approx 2 lemons)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2 Tbsp passionfruit pulp<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<h3><a name=\"TOC-Directions\"><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Directions<\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Preheat oven to 350F (180C)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Spray a 9&#215;13 inch pan with Vegetable oil spray<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In medium size mixing bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt and sugar.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Using pastry blender, cut cold butter into the flour mixture until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Add coconut and mix well.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Press the crumb mixture into prepared pan and bake in preheated 350F degree oven for 12 minutes or until lightly golden.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Remove from oven and cool.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Reduce oven temp to 300F (150C)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In medium size mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice and passionfruit pulp until smooth.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pour over base and spread evenly.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Bake in 300F oven for 15 minutes or until set.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Remove from oven, cool completely before slicing.<\/span><\/span>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/sonteisservingitup\/recipes-1\/passionfruitbars\/IMG_0513.JPG?attredirects=0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/sonteisservingitup\/_\/rsrc\/1276482769504\/recipes-1\/passionfruitbars\/IMG_0513.JPG?height=161&amp;width=200\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"161\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While living in Australia there was a Passionfruit vine just outside the door which provided and abundant crop!
