This is how I am currently making it; really, it is whatever I have in the Pantry that determines the outcome of the Granola!<\/p>\n<div>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/sonteisservingitup\/recipes-1\/suar\/IMG_1052.JPG?attredirects=0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/sonteisservingitup\/_\/rsrc\/1280894089748\/recipes-1\/suar\/IMG_1052.JPG?height=138&amp;width=200\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"138\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>4 cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats<\/div>\n<div>2 teaspoons Cinnamon<\/div>\n<div>1 teaspoon Salt<\/div>\n<div>1\/2 cup Butter, melted<\/div>\n<div>1\/2 cup Honey<\/div>\n<div>3\/4 cup Brown Sugar<\/div>\n<div>2 teaspoons Vanilla<\/div>\n<div>1\/4 cup Wheat Germ<\/div>\n<div>1\/4 cup Ground Flax Seed<\/div>\n<div>*Almonds<\/div>\n<div>*Cashews<\/div>\n<div>*Coconut<\/div>\n<div>*Dates, chopped<\/div>\n<div>*Golden Raisins<\/div>\n<div>*Dried Cranberries<\/div>\n<div>*Sesame Seeds,<\/div>\n<div>* Sunflower Seeds<\/div>\n<div>*Dried Apricot, chopped<\/div>\n<div>*Pumpkin Seeds<\/div>\n<div>Preheat oven to 325F (160C)<\/div>\n<div>Line Baking Trays with paper, if desired.<\/div>\n<div>In large bowl, combine oats, cinnamon, wheat germ, ground flax seed and salt.<\/div>\n<div>In medium bowl, combine Fruit and Nuts you will be using; set aside.<\/div>\n<div>In small bowl, combine melted butter, honey, brown sugar and vanilla.<\/div>\n<div>Pour honey mixture over oats mixture and combine to coat all the dry ingredients.<\/div>\n<div>Pour onto prepared baking trays and spread evenly.<\/div>\n<div>Bake for 10 minutes.<\/div>\n<div>Remove from oven, stir in Fruit and Nuts, and cook for another 10 minutes.<\/div>\n<div>Stir Granola.<\/div>\n<div>Continue baking for another 10 minutes.<\/div>\n<div>Remove from oven and stir; continue stirring occasionally until completely cool.<\/div>\n<div>Store in airtight container.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/sonteisservingitup\/recipes-1\/suar\/IMG_0490.JPG?attredirects=0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/sonteisservingitup\/_\/rsrc\/1280894265351\/recipes-1\/suar\/IMG_0490.JPG?height=149&amp;width=200\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"149\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was inspired to make Granola by good friend Lisa in Hope, BC.
