I have been making this one for the past 28 years and have always gotten rave reviews.<\/p>\n<p>2 1\/2 cups Flour<br \/>\n1\/2 cup Sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 cup Brown Sugar<br \/>\n3 1\/2 teaspoons Baking Powder<br \/>\n1 teaspoon Salt<\/p>\n<p>3 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil<br \/>\n1\/3 cup Milk (Soy Milk)<br \/>\n1 1\/4 cup Bananas, mashed (2 &#8211; 4 bananas)<br \/>\n1 large Egg, slightly beaten<br \/>\n1 1\/2 teaspoons Vanilla<\/p>\n<p>1 cup chopped Walnuts<br \/>\n1 cup Chocolate Chips<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350F.<br \/>\nLightly spray bottom only of 9X5X3 inch loaf pan with vegetable oil spray.<\/p>\n<p>In large mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder and salt; set aside.<\/p>\n<p>In small mixing bowl combine mashed bananas, vegetable oil, milk, egg and vanilla.<br \/>\nPour liquid ingredients all at once into dry ingredients and stir just until all the flour is moistened.<br \/>\nFold in chopped nuts and chocolate chips.<\/p>\n<p>Spoon into prepared loaf tin and bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, about 55 &#8211; 60 minutes.<br \/>\nCool in baking pan on wire rack for 10 minutes before turning out to cool completely.<\/p>\n<p>Wrap and refrigerate for no longer than one week or store in Tupperware Bread Keeper.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Everyone has a banana bread recipe in their repertoire.
