Living in a house with four children you can bet peanut butter was a favourite so these were a natural hit! One son used to request these bars for his &#8220;birthday&#8221; cake! On your birthday, anything goes, so instead of making bars? I pressed the peanut butter mixture into a springform pan, topped with chocolate, let it set then wrote, &#8220;Happy Birthday Ryan!&#8221; on top!<\/p>\n<p>Now I will be the first to tell you, health bars, these are not! I have recently started doing them as individual cups in order to help with portion control. However, I will not be held responsible for <em>how many<\/em> of these you eat! And may I suggest a nice cold glass of milk? Normally I am all about the coffee but these bars\/cups need something to tone down the sweetness.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_802\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-802\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/?attachment_id=802\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-802\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-802\" title=\"Reeses Cups\" src=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5314-739x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Reeses Cups\" width=\"640\" height=\"886\" srcset=\"http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5314-739x1024.jpg 739w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5314-216x300.jpg 216w, http:\/\/aysontespli.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5314.jpg 1390w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-802\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sinfully Sweet - Reeses Cups<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>3 1\/2 cups Icing Sugar<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups Peanut Butter<br \/>\n1 cup Butter<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups Graham Crumbs<br \/>\n1 1\/2 teaspoons Vanilla<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups Chocolate Chips<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Butter<\/p>\n<p>In medium saucepan melt peanut butter and butter.<br \/>\nStir in icing sugar, one cup at a time and stirring well after each addition.<br \/>\nAdd graham crumbs and vanilla, mixing well.<br \/>\nPress into a 9X13 (3.3l) pan.*<br \/>\nMelt chocolate and 1 Tbsp butter over very low heat, stirring constantly until completely melted and no lumps remain.<br \/>\nSpread over base; cool until chocolate has set.<br \/>\nCut into bars.<\/p>\n<p>* Line 48 mini muffin cups with paper liners.<br \/>\nUse a two ounce scoop to fill each cup; press each filling firmly into cup.<br \/>\nUsing a small coffee spoon (Aussie style!) top each peanut butter cup with melted chocolate, swirling to cover entire top.<br \/>\nCool until chocolate has set.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This recipe was given to me by a neighbour about 20 years ago.
